Sterling is a Senior Associate at Blockchain Capital. He joined the firm in January of 2022. He conducts investment diligence and also supports our portfolio companies, focusing largely on the intersection of consumer and crypto.

Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Sterling founded a Web3 company, Minotaur, and launched several successful NFT projects with top-tier creators and brands. He hopes to leverage this experience at Blockchain Capital.

Sterling has several years of VC experience, having built out consumer portfolios at Lerer Hippeau and Grishin Robotics. Prior to venture investing, he spent several years at WME developing music talent before launching the gaming and estates divisions. He also organized the first celebrity pro-am for Fortnite at E3 in 2018.

Sterling earned his B.S. in Music Industry and Business Administration from the University of Southern California and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He has performed as a DJ alongside Lil Jon, T-Pain, Disclosure, Dillon Francis, and more.
