JoAnne Lauer is Director of Investor Relations for Blockchain Capital. She joined as the first employee in July of 2016. JoAnne plays a strategic role at Blockchain Capital in managing investor relations, marketing and communications. JoAnne draws from over 30 years in financial services and educational organizations, in roles spanning leadership, operations, relationship management and professional training.

Prior to Blockchain Capital, she was the Global Program Director for two international executive leadership and communications firms before founding her own professional coaching and consulting practice. JoAnne was also VP, Investor Relations & Regulatory Affairs for Belvedere Capital, where she managed complex regulatory relationships, coordinated fundraising, and managed investor and portfolio company relationships.

JoAnne earned her B.A. in Business Management, Human Resources and Organizational Development from Sonoma State University, and is a certified professional coach. In her spare time, JoAnne is an avid road cyclist and local community advocate for bike/ped safety and DE&I.
