Aleks Larsen is a General Partner at Blockchain Capital. He joined the firm in May of 2018. Aleks works closely with our portfolio companies and brings a unique combination of experience in systems engineering and finance.

Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Aleks was an investment banker at Guggenheim Partners, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and IPOs within the biotech and consumer sectors.

Aleks graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and a concentration in Computer Science. He helped start the Aave Grants DAO and is a member of the Nexus Mutual’s Investment Hub. Aleks currently sits on five boards, including Matter Labs. 

In his free time, he produces music, plays basketball and reads sci-fi books.
